Enkidu together with partner NGOs delivers 6 commissioned ambulances to Ukraine
By Ulyana Shtybel 24. August 2022.Enkidu has successfully delivered six commissioned ambulances. This was achieved due to close collaboration with our partners – “Nova Ukraine” (US), “Ukrainian Student Association at Stanford – USAS” (US), “Be A Hero” (Poland), “Students Fraternity of Lviv” (Ukraine). Ambulances packed with medical supplies were delivered to Ukrainian medical professionals in Zaporizzhia (2 vehicles), Kharkiv, Kramatorsk, Rivne and Palanka (4 vehicles). The US-based Pioneer Natural Resources have provided grant funding via Nova Ukraine to procure the ambulances.
“Enkidu’s mission is to ensure Ukrainian people have access to the much-needed medical aid. We have developed a network of like-minded partners and work together towards this goal. These six ambulances are a tangible contribution to enable doctors to provide medical assistance and save lives”, said Lucas Kuziv, Enkidu’s co-founder.
“Every day Ukrainian people are getting seriously injured and needing medical help. Nova Ukraine and USAS have supported Ukrainian crisis relief efforts since day 1 of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. We will continue to ensure critically needed medical support is available for Ukraine”, added Josh Pickering, USAS Director of Operations.
“Our Foundation has been very active in providing crisis relief for Ukraine. We have made numerous deliveries of food, medical supplies and other goods across Ukraine. We have delivered ambulances as far as Kharkiv and Kramatorsk despite the risks because we know how critically needed they are”, stated Marta Malecka, Director of “Be A Hero”.
This purchase has been possible in close collaboration of Enkidu with Pioneer Natural Resources (US) and all the individual volunteers from the UK, Poland and Ukraine for their priceless contribution and support with logistics.
Enkidu continues to support Ukraine and more medical orders are waiting for its institutional donors to be financed. Contact the team to get access to the dashboard with Ukraine’s humanitarian requests on Enkidu https://enkiduglobal.org/contact-us/
